Europe's biggest-ever museum design event launches with a unique one-day Symposium at the Science Museum's Dana Centre on Tuesday 14 October.

Keynote Address:
Prof. Jack Lohman - Director of the Museum of London - will give the Keynote Address. Prior to being appointed Director of the Museum of London in 2002, Jack Lohman was CEO of Iziko Museums of Cape Town, South Africa, where he was responsible for fifteen museums, including the South African Museum and the South African National Gallery. Between 1985-94, Jack worked for English Heritage.
Jack is also Professor of Museum Design at the Bergen National Academy of the Arts in Norway. He is Chairman of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) UK, and Chairman of the National Museum in Warsaw, Poland.
